
Paul Hamerton-Kelly joined Mambo Media full time in 2007 to oversee operations and technical projects. His background is in mechanical product development, most recently as Director of Engineering at Bioject, Inc, a medical device company developing needle-free devices for delivery of injectable drugs.
Prior to joining Bioject, Mr. Hamerton-Kelly was employed at Therasense, Inc., (now Abbott Diabetes Care) leading a team of internal and external resources to explore feasibility of an automated blood glucose measurement device. From 1999 to 2001 he oversaw the engineering department in the San Francisco branch of Boston-based product development consulting firm Design Continuum, Inc.
From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Hamerton-Kelly created innovative engineering solutions for customers of Lunar Design, Inc., a product design consulting firm serving clients in electronic, medical and consumer product arenas. Before joining Lunar, he was part of the engineering team that launched the first palm-top PC at Poqet Computer Corp.
Mr. Hamerton-Kelly received his BSME from Stanford University. He is the named inventor on eight US design and utility patents.
